MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) -Fresh off winning the AAC Tournament, the Memphis Tigers earn a #5 seed in the West Region for the NCAA Tournament. The Tigers will face #12 seed Colorado State in Seattle in the first round on Friday. The #5 seed is the highest the Tigers have earned since they were a #2 seed in the 2009 tournament. If Memphis beats Colorado State, they’d face the winner of Maryland and Grand Canyon next Sunday.
