    A kayaker in BC was thankfully rescued after suffering a severe laceration with life-threatening bleeding while on the Crooked River. Prince George Search and Rescue (PG SAR) said they got the call on May 10 from a group of four who were kayaking down the river. They encountered a log extending across bank to bank, and as they were pulling the kayaks across, one person slipped and was injured.
