Salmon Arm Mounties have issued an appeal for information about a man who has been missing since 2002. Raymond Kohout, a nurse and father of three children, has not been seen since April 29 of that year. He was last spotted about 4:30 pm on the Trans-Canada Highway between Salmon Arm and Canoe, the RCMP said. He was riding a blue mountain bike. Police said his bike was found between Salmon Arm and Sicamous on Sept. 11, 2002.

A BC teacher has been reprimanded by the provincial commissioner for “inappropriate conduct” that put students’ emotional well-being at risk. A consent agreement between the BC Commissioner for Teacher Regulation and Brigitte Lépine was published on Tuesday. A summary of the agreement said the issues happened while Lépine was employed as a teacher on call by School District 43 in Coquitlam in September 2021.
