Eastview scored five times in the top of the first. But by the bottom of the second, Willmar earned a 6-5 lead with two runs in the first and four more in the second.     Jun. 22—SACRED HEART — For the Bird Island Bulldogs, it was a day of dealing with hot, humid conditions and one more afternoon of confronting yet another pesky Class C team in the Corn Belt League.     Jun. 22—LA CROSSE, Wis. — Another series, another series split for the Willmar Stingers. After losing 26-1 on Saturday night against the La Crosse Loggers, the Stingers bounced back. And they did so in a big way. AdvertisementWillmar responded with a 22-3 rout of the Loggers in the Northwoods League Great Plains Conference series on Sunday before 1,544 fans at Copeland Park. The Stingers are 13-12 in the Great Plains West and La Crosse is the top team in the Great Plains East at 20-8.
