Suspect arrested after burglary at Peoria smoke shop business

A suspect is in custody after a weekend burglary at a Peoria business. The Peoria Police Department responded to a call to the 4200 block of North Sheridan Road at about 11:53 p.m. Saturday for a business alarm. Upon arrival at the scene, officers observed that the front glass door of VIP Smoke Shop had been shattered and broken out. Police immediately conducted a search of the area for the suspect.
