HARRISBURG, Ark. — The Arkansas police chief who was arrested Wednesday for allegedly allowing his son, a convicted felon, to ride in his patrol vehicle, denies all allegations against him and his son. Harrisburg, Arkansas Police Chief Eric Moore was charged with furnishing a handgun or a prohibited weapon to a felon, and three counts of Arkansas Crime Information Center release or disclosure to an unauthorized person.

Police say the shooting occurred just after 11:30 p.m. at the corner of Everette Street and Claude Street. The teenager was sitting in the passenger seat of a car when someone began shooting. TUNICA COUNTY, Miss. — One suspect is in custody and another is still wanted in connection to a Sunday night homicide in Tunica County, Mississippi. Mario Lester Jr., 17, is a suspect who remains at large. He is wanted for First Degree Murder and is considered armed and dangerous. The mother of Makenzie Thomas, 18, is grieving the loss of her son, who was killed in Tunica near the intersection of Carroll Street and Edwards Avenue.
