Fort Lauderdale Police are searching for a suspect accused of stabbing an Amazon driver in Broward County. According to police, shortly after 7:30 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 1100 block of NW 10th Terrace in Fort Lauderdale to an incident involving an Amazon driver. Police said the Amazon delivery van had broken down when an unknown suspect approached and stabbed the driver with a knife.

Miami-Dade Police are investigating after a mother accidentally shot her teenage daughter at a McDonald's in Miami Friday night, officials said. According to police, shortly after 10 p.m., Miami-Dade Police officers arrived at the fast food restaurant on 9250 NW 7th Ave after reports of a dispute and shooting. Police said a woman accidentally fired a gun striking her 15-year-old daughter in the shoulder. The teen was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center in stable condition.

A North Miami man has been arrested after he scammed another man out of $7,000 by falsifying DNA records for a French bulldog he was selling, back in July of 2023. According to an arrest report, on July 10, 2023, the victim, Malik Bellamy, messaged 31-year-old Justin Jaramillo on Instagram after he listed a Big Rope French Bulldog for sale. This breed is particularly known for its fluffy traits, which means they have longer, softer, and fluffier coats.

The state on Friday officially filed charges against a woman who allegedly struck and killed an elderly couple in a hit-and-run in Hialeah. Records show Susej Calcines is facing two vehicular homicide charges and two charges for leaving the scene of crash involving death. Previously, it was thought that prosecutors may not have had enough evidence to follow through on the vehicular homicide charges. Calcines was arraigned Friday.
