    COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKBN) — A woman convicted of bilking Medicaid out of $1.5 million was sentenced Thursday. Janay Corbitt, 36, was sentenced to six to nine years in prison following her guilty pleas last month. She will also have to pay back the money she stole. Corbitt was indicted in May 2024 after an investigation by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office revealed that she stole multiple identities to open and operate two sham behavioral-health counseling agencies in the Dayton area.

    WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Trumbull County grand jury returned an indictment this week against a Warren man on rape and other charges. John Baker, 64, is charged with rape and kidnapping, both first-degree felonies; and felonious assault, a second-degree felony. The charges surround an incident on February 20, 2025, in Champion Township when the victim’s sister called police to tell them that her sister called her and said that she was being raped.
