A total lunar eclipse turned the moon red early Friday morning. The full eclipse occurred when the moon, Earth and sun align. This sequence starts at 12:13 to 2:15 a.m. Friday morning. Crews work on the ComEd substation section of a future Microsoft data center just east of Barrington Road, along Lakewood Boulevard, in Hoffman Estates. The station will serve Microsoftâ€™s 53-acre campus just north of Bell Works Chicagoland. The site is east of another data center project by Compass Datacenters on the former site of the Sears headquarters, between Route 72 and I-90, also in Hoffman Estates. Crews have been working to demolish all of the existing Sears buildings at that site.

The Schaumburg Farmers Market is a popular spot to find fresh vegetables, fruits, flowers, plants, baked goods and gourmet food. The fall season will usher in addition items like pumpkins, gourds and a variety of apples. The Schaumburg market also has food vendors, family-friendly activities, knife sharpening and pet products. The market runs every Friday through Oct. 25 and vendors set up their tents and stands in the Trickster Cultural Center parking lot, 190 S. Roselle Road.
