ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Nice weather to start the day with dry conditions and thickening cloud cover. Rain to our south will slowly move north and eventually bring showers to the region mid to late afternoon. Rainfall should be light with no heavy downpours or thunder expected Monday afternoon. Scattered showers will continue into Wednesday. No washout on the way but a few rounds of rain possible. Unfortunately, this pattern will persist into the start of the weekend.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Coming off a nice weekend our Monday will bring lots of sunshine and a return to much warmer conditions. Very pleasant weather with temps into the 70s to near 80 degrees with a light wind out of the south. If you are near Lake Ontario a local lakebeeze will set up this afternoon and temps will turn cooler near the water. A few high clouds will drift in later today and tonight with milder weather into Tuesday morning.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A large storm system near the east coast will be just far enough away that we have mainly dry weather in the forecast Friday. Sky cover will range from some sunshine west of Rochester to overcast near and east of the city. Northeast breeze will keep temperatures well below normal in the 40s and 50s this afternoon. Well east of Rochester there is a small shower threat, but any steady rain should stay east of us out towards Syracuse.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Impressive rain totals from one to three inches near and to the east of Rochester into Wayne and Ontario Counties. Thankfully no reports of any flooding. Since the heavy rain and flood threat has ended our Yellow Alert is over. The rest of Tuesday will bring sun and clouds with a few showers but overall, much drier weather into tonight. Some showers will occasionally pass thru but amounts will be light. Cooler weather into Thursday and Friday with a passing shower.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Yellow Alert continues into Wednesday morning for locally heavy rain before ending west to east by midday and early afternoon. Expect drier weather later in the day with some partial sunshine and nothing more than a couple of showers later in the day. Thankfully, we have seen only minor problems so far but will need to monitor creeks and streams through midday for some possible flooding.
