MOORHEAD — Growing up in Bismarck, North Dakota, Bailey White and her family would go to Medora in the summer, but she said they didn’t have enough money to do everything. She aims to rectify that this summer. The artist was selected to create the first Medora Masterpiece, a 4-by-4-foot painted mural at the city’s Burning Hills Amphitheatre. The project is to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the iconic Medora Musical. “I’m so excited,” White said in her Moorhead home studio.
