    The family of a Canadian woman who was tragically killed in a crash while travelling across Ireland has thanked the Irish public for the kindness shown to them throughout their time here. Helen Valks, 73, died following a crash along the L3180 at Toonagh in Tulla, Co Clare, after she was struck by a tractor at approximately 12:45 pm on Saturday, May 24. Emergency services were quick to respond, but the 73-year-old was sadly pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
