John Biondi, who owns the restaurant with wife Deirdre Birmingham, said the team is "easing into" things for now and planning a grand opening in May when the patio opens. Biondi and Birmingham own The Cider Farm, an orchard and farm near Mineral Point which produces cider and apple brandy.

The group Building America’s Future is spending $1.6 million on television ads in the Wisconsin Supreme Court race that started airing Thursday and will run for two weeks in the state's five largest media markets.

    The February Cooking with the Cap Times event, held Thursday, Feb. 13, at Furniture & ApplianceMart, featured chef Evan Dannells of Cadre and Lola's Hi/Lo Lounge. Dannells demonstrated how to break down lobster. He used the meat in a savory Parisian pastry called vol-au-vent, and simmered the shells to make lobster bisque. Along with the finished dishes, attendees enjoyed a glass of Arsonist Chardonnay from Yolo County, California, supplied by wine pairing sponsor, Leopold's Books Bar Caffé.
