LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Police say a five-year-old girl is recovering from injuries suffered in a fall at a northeast Lincoln apartment building on Wednesday night. According to LPD, first responders were called to the small complex just north of 56th and Holdrege just before 9 p.m. on a report of a child falling from a window on the third floor. Following an investigation, police stated that the 5-year-old has pushed out a window screen, then climbed into the window before falling.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A 19-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries after falling about 50 feet from the top of an abandoned grain silo near downtown Lincoln, according to police. Officers and Lincoln Fire & Rescue responded to the structure near South Sixth and G streets around 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Capt. Todd Kocian said the woman had been hanging out at the site with three friends. One friend stayed outside the silo, while the others went inside with her.
