But it doesn't make the competitive drive any less for the DV freshman, who won the girls' mile race by more than six seconds. "Running track really just comes down to you versus yourself out there," said Otten, who was an all-state hooper this winter for DV.

    The Sioux City Musketeers are moving on. Sioux City pulled off a two-game sweep of the Fargo Force, competing the best-of-three series win over the Force on Wednesday night at Tyson Events Center with a 5-2 victory in the first round of the USHL Clark Cup Playoffs. "We had great energy in the building," said Sioux City head coach Jason Kersner. "I know it can be hard for people to get out to games on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, but we had some really passionate fans behind us tonight.
