The family of a ‘fun-loving’ 38-year-old woman who lost her life in a car crash has shared a tribute statement. Sara Pancas, 38, of Thetford, was the driver of a black Mini One which left the southbound carriageway of the A11 at Ketteringham and collided with a tree near the junction with Station Lane on Sunday, November 3. At around 5.15am, officers came across the car and a woman in her 20s, also from Thetford, died at the scene.

It was 5pm by the time I set off up the Nina Valley Track in the direction of Nina Hut. The last time I had been here was when I set off for my nine day solo trip through to Arthur’s Pass in 2020. I schlepped my way along, dodging mud puddles as I climbed into the valley itself. It was warm under the canopy of the beech forest. I pass a mother and an adorable little girl walking in the opposite direction. Toutouwai flitter around me in fascination.
