Locals who attended a concert at Coca-Cola Coliseum on April 1 may have been exposed to measles, according to Toronto Public Health. A person who contracted a case of measles was reportedly at the venue from about 5:30 to 11:59 p.m. to attend a Forrest Frank concert. "Measles is a highly contagious virus that spreads through the air when an infected person breathes, coughs, sneezes or talks," wrote Toronto Public Health (TPH).

The Jonas Brothers are celebrating the band's 20th anniversary with a special concert in Toronto on Saturday. Tickets for the limited event at Massey Hall, priced at $20, went on sale Friday afternoon and sold out in under 30 minutes. The show was announced yesterday and without much fanfare. The Province of Ontario is warning residents to be on the lookout for scams related to the $200 rebate cheques issued by Doug Ford's government. Adult Ontarians who filed their 2023 income tax by Dec. 31, 2024 qualify to receive the rebate. For families who receive the Canada Child Benefit, an additional $200 is available for each child under 18 years old. The $200 payment is available exclusively via cheque, which will arrive through the mail.
