Gusty Westerly winds will focus the lake effect for towns near and North of Route 104 through Tuesday evening. Northern and Eastern Wayne county will record the highest snow totals during the period. Rochester, N.Y. -- January has been typically cold since it began a little over two weeks ago. We're watching an even colder round of temperatures set to reach our area beginning on Sunday. Somewhat milder weather will be in the region through before the front arrives with rain and snow on Saturday. Highs will peak near 40 degrees on Saturday then tumble through the 20s on Sunday.
