SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash — The man accused of using explosive devices to set multiple fires around his Spokane Valley neighborhood on Saturday morning, starting with his own home, appeared before a Spokane County judge on Monday.   Court records show that 36-year-old Cody Jensen allegedly kicked in his roommates' door and threw flaming gasoline-filled bottles inside, setting fire to the home on Saturday around 3 a.m. Roommates told police that Jensen had recently lost possession of the house.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane's entertainment industry is taking a hit with ticket sales slower than normal. Even some big shows are filling fewer seats than expected. The two-week run of Hamilton here at the First Interstate Center is over, and fewer people than expected were in the room when it happened. KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho — The woman who was dragged from a town hall in Coeur d'Alene filed a notice of tort claim Monday, putting Kootenai County on notice she intends to sue. “Litigation is a deterrent to bad behavior and what we had at the town hall are people with power who thought they had absolute power. And they don’t," said Dr. Teresa Borrenpohl, the woman who was forcibly removed from a Kootenai County Republican Central Committee event February 22.
