ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Dew points have slowly been climbing, and you’re probably starting to feel the mugginess in the air. This trend will continue on Wednesday ahead of a cold front. Dew points will climb into the upper 60s to near 70. Air temperatures will also climb a few degrees into the mid 80s. Rain and storm chances will begin to go up through the day on Wednesday, with scattered afternoon showers developing, and some rumbles of thunder by evening.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – We’ve had somewhat cooler and comfortable temperatures so far this late spring/early summer season, but that will start to change this week. Dew points will begin to climb slightly on Tuesday, making it feel a little more muggy. With the added moisture, we could see a few isolated showers or a storm popping, mainly in the afternoon, and especially in the Finger Lakes. Our humidity will peak this week on Wednesday, and so will our storm chances ahead of a cold front.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – We managed to see a pretty nice Father’s Day weekend, and we’ll keep the fair weather going to start the new work week. Clouds will generally win out, but we’ll see some sunshine on Monday, and temperatures will be a few degree milder, putting us into the mid and upper 70s. More importantly, humidity stays in check. It’ll start to turn slightly more muggy later Monday, but still fairly comfortable. That will start to change by Tuesday.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Our somewhat split weather weekend continues on Sunday, thanks to a stalled front to our south. Much like Saturday, Sunday will feature more sun north of the Thruway, with a mostly cloudy sky south. The best chance of a spotty shower will likely be in the Finger Lakes, but the majority of Father’s Day will be dry. So, if you have outdoor plans with dad outside, enjoy! Just grab the sunscreen if you’re north of the Thruway.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A stationary front still lingering over the area for the weekend will tend to give us a split forecast, but overall it isn’t a bad forecast. In fact, it has been trending drier for Father’s Day weekend! That being said, we will see some showers moving in Friday night and last into early Saturday morning. The most persistent showers will tend to be south of the Thruway in the Finger Lakes region. Areas north of Rochester may stay dry on Saturday morning.
