NEW JERSEY (PIX11) – Severe thunderstorm warnings have been issued across New Jersey Friday morning, according to the National Weather Service. One warning was issued for areas including Toms River, Lindenwold and Haddonfield through 6:15 a.m. The NWS warns winds up to 60 mph and hail up to a quarter in size are possible. A second warning was issued for Atlantic City, Vineland and Pleasantville through 6:45 a.m., according to the NWS.

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Now that the storm has ended, winds and frigid temperatures are a big concern. There is a high wind warning for most of New Jersey, Pike County and parts of the Hudson Valley until 7 p.m. Gusts up to 65 mph winds are expected. A wind advisory will remain in place for New York City until 6 p.m. with up to 50 mph gusts possible. Hopefully, you’ve secured outdoor furniture and other loose outdoor items. Tree limbs could be blown down and could cause power outages.

NEW YORK (PIX11) – More snow is headed to the tri-state area this week following a weekend storm that dumped nearly 5 inches of accumulation onto New York City. Here’s everything you need to know about the forecast:The first round of snow is expected Tuesday evening into Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. It could start falling between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m.There is a 30% chance of snow on Wednesday during the day.
