NEW YORK (PIX11) — Today we continue this record dry streak—27 days without measurable rain. This currently places in the top five streaks since official weather records began. Today’s highs in the New York City area should be around 63, which is normal for the season. Tonight will once again be chilly, particularly in the suburbs north and west of the city. Tomorrow temperatures are expected to be a bit cooler with highs around 58 degrees under mostly sunny skies.

NEW YORK (PIX11) — It was another day under the umbrellas as the remnants of Helene kept conditions gray and soggy. Central Park checked in with an afternoon high of just 63 degrees, the coolest day seen this month. Temperatures also remained below average throughout all of New Jersey, Long Island, the Hudson Valley, and Connecticut. Expect conditions to stay on the damp side as we make our way into the evening hours.

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Expect the heat and humidity to return on Monday. Afternoon temperatures are expected to reach the low to mid-90s, and the humidity will make it feel close to 100 degrees in many areas. There’s also a chance for spot showers and storms during the afternoon. Then, relief moves from Tuesday into Wednesday. The same front that gave us lower temps on Sunday will drop temps into the 70s for the second half of the week.

NEW YORK (PIX11) – If you plan on attending the NYC Pride March on Sunday, be sure to bring an umbrella and water to stay hydrated. Rain can start coming down in the tri-state area as early as 2 p.m., according to PIX11 meteorologists. High temperatures are in the mid-80s. The rainy weather will clear out by Monday, ushering in sunshine and cooler temperatures in the upper-70s. Tuesday is expected to see similar conditions, with temps in the mid-80s.

Temperatures could reach the mid-90s on Sunday, according to PIX11 meteorologists. Thunderstorms are possible during the evening. Monday will see temperatures drop down to the high-70s and low-80s. Mostly sunny skies are also expected. Temperatures will climb back up to the mid-80s on Tuesday.

NEW YORK (PIX11) — The heat wave continues throughout the tri-state area with heat index values expected to reach as high as 96. There is a chance of an afternoon thunderstorm in parts of the area. Temperatures will look to cool off during the evening but will once again reach the mid-90s on Sunday. A heat advisory will remain in effect until 8 p.m. on Sunday. The hot temperatures and high humidity could cause heat illnesses, including heat stroke.
