She compiled 275 kills in 85 sets, an average of three kills per set, tops on the squad. Her .288 hitting percentage was also tops on the team.

Riverdale Ridge High School’s softball team gathered on April 24 for a ring ceremony commemorating its first Class 5A state softball title in school history. The Ravens won the title in October using a 15-hit attack, mainly singles, to beat top-seeded Cherokee Trail High School. “There were times when I’ve left here (the state tournament) where I felt like, ‘Can I get us to where we need to be?’” said Head Coach Ray Garza after winning the title.

Here’s a synopsis. Nick Griffin – Dodge City Community CollegeGriffin is taking his baseball skills to Dodge City Community College in Kansas to play baseball. Through 15 games this season, Griffin had a batting average of .333. Five of his base hits were for extra bases. One of those hits was a home run.
