Rehearsal pictures have been released of a new stage production of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice at the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough. The show, a co-production between the Stephen Joseph Theatre, the Octagon Bolton, Hull Truck Theatre and Theatre by the Lake, in association with Theatr Clywd, opens at Bolton this week then heads to Scarborough. This new stage adaptation brings to life the classic story of love, misunderstandings, and second chances (with plenty of music and dancing).

Her Songs & Stories tour will take in intimate venues across England, Wales, and Scotland including a stop at Scarborough Spa Theatre on Thursday April 16. A singer and actor, a TV host and author, a BRIT Award winner and a film star – Toyah has worn many hats during a remarkable career spanning more than 50 years.

Books by the Beach – Scarborough’s literature festival – brings famous faces and best-selling writers to town this weekend – Friday, June 6 to Sunday, June 8.
