    Georgia is one of the states with the highest soda consumption rate, with 68.1% of adults drinking soda daily, according to a report by World Population Review. In fact, Statistica reports Georgia residents are projected to spend an average of $315 million per year buying soda products. This means that not only do we drink a lot of coke (which could mean anything from actual Coca-Cola to Pepsi to Fresca to Fanta), we also spend a lot on coke.

    Last month, The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced a salmonella-linked tomato recall for tomatoes in Georgia and North and South Carolina, and it has just been upgraded to a Class I recall. In this most recent announcement, tomatoes from Williams Farms Repack LLC and H&C Farms Label were recalled due to potential salmonella contamination, and it includes three-count packages, 10-pound boxes, 25-pound boxes and 60-count two-layer boxes.
