Lancaster Township’s police department moved into its new home last month at 1250 Maple Avenue, next to the township building. The station is another key step for the new force, which was created from scratch last year with 15 officers hired in December. The one-story building, which includes a basement, contains offices, locker rooms, an evidence room and a holding room and is connected to a private garage.
