Preliminary information released by Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson says officers responded to multiple reports of gunfire in northwest Rochester around 10:00 p.m. The target of the shooting appeared to be an occupied vehicle, according to the police report.

An SUV traveling north on the two-lane road veered off the roadway, entered the ditch then struck a culvert Houston, MN (A KROC-AM News)- southeast Minnesota man was brought to a hospital after crashing over the weekend. Rochester, MN (A KROC-AM News)- Stewartville man, who was charged last year in a massive Rochester fraud case, has pleaded guilty. The criminal complaint in the case says the scheme cost a Rochester financial institution more than $10,000. He entered a guilty plea in Olmsted County Court earlier this week. 22-year-old David Lloyd Black was charged with one felony count of theft by swindle and a felony count of issuing a dishonored check last June.
