    Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Rochester City Council is set to vote on a request to modify and expand the Destination Medical Center (DMC) District boundaries Monday night. The DMC Corporation Board approved a resolution to request a modification to the boundary during their May 22 meeting. City documents indicate the request is to facilitate construction of infrastructure needed for the Link Bus Rapid Transit Line.

    Washington, D.C. (KROC-AM News)- 20 Minnesota counties and two of the state’s cities are considered sanctuary jurisdictions by the Trump Administration. That’s according to a list published by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The list is the result of an executive order mandating the publishing of jurisdictions the administration says “obstruct the enforcement of Federal immigration laws.” The City of Rochester and Olmsted County are not included on the Trump Administration's list.

    Police took the man into custody after a brief foot chase. They also found a handgun in the suspect vehicle Rochester, MN ( KROC-AM News)- Rochester police captured a man suspected of committing a shooting in a Rochester neighborhood Wednesday night. Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson says officers responded to a report of gunshots around 9:15 p.m. Police found shell casings upon arriving at the shooting scene. The shooting occurred in the 4400 block of Manor View Dr. Northwest.

    eputies responded to the assault call around 8:00 Wednesday morning in the 6700 block of 54th Street Southeast in Marion Township. Rochester, MN (The KROC-AM News)- Olmsted County Sheriff's Office is looking for a homeless man accused of threatening a woman with a gun. Captain Tim Parkin says the assault case also involves a stolen pick-up truck. The suspect has multiple active arrest warrants, authorities say. The alleged assault occurred in the reportedly stolen pick-up truck.
