Rochester, MN ( KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man with a lengthy criminal past has been handed a prison sentence for his latest conviction. According to court records, 34-year-old Yol Liebel Chadack's run-ins with the law date back to when he was a juvenile. While most of the offenses listed are misdemeanors and gross misdemeanors, Chadack also has several previous felony convictions, including terroristic threats and a fraud-related count for falsely impersonating another person.

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Rochester City Council is set to vote on a request to modify and expand the Destination Medical Center (DMC) District boundaries Monday night. The DMC Corporation Board approved a resolution to request a modification to the boundary during their May 22 meeting. City documents indicate the request is to facilitate construction of infrastructure needed for the Link Bus Rapid Transit Line.

According to court records, Rochester police responded on the afternoon of October 11, 2024, to a report of a vehicle theft in the 800 block of Civic Center Drive Northwest.

Rochester, MN ( KROC-AM News) - The Rochester man arrested following a shooting Wednesday night was formally arraigned on related charges Friday in Olmsted County Court. According to the criminal complaint against 33-year-old Jhovani Soto, Rochester police responded to reports of a shooting in the area of the 4400 block of Manor View Drive Northwest shortly after 9 PM on Wednesday.
