    Richard J. Sattre, 78 years old of Red Wing, MN died on Thursday May 29 2025 from complications of chronic lung disease at Mayo Clinic - St. Mary's Campus. Richard Jay Sattre was born October 17,  1946, in Rochester, MN to Donald and Iva (Runkle) Sattre. He grew up on the family farm and attended Stewartville schools, graduating from Stewartville High School in 1964.

    Daniel J. Ware, 89, a lifelong Stewartville, MN resident died on Sunday (May 4, 2025) of chronic lung disease at Mayo Clinic Rochester - St. Marys Campus. Daniel Joseph Ware was born on September 14, 1935 in Rochester,MN  to Wayne and Anna (Hrdlicka) Ware.  He grew up in Stewartville, attended Stewartville schools, graduating from Stewartville HS in 1953. He entered the US Marines serving 4 years.   After his discharge he moved back to Stewartville where he has continued to make his home.
