(Fargo, ND) --  Two people face multiple charges after Fargo police say they ran from officers.  It happened on Tuesday, when police responded to a possible domestic dispute near 16th Avenue South, where officers saw a man and woman loading items into a truck.  Police say the pair got into the truck and drove away, and pursuing officers soon noticed the truck had stolen license plates.

(St. Paul, MN)  --  Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison is charging eight people who are linked to an alleged scheme to defraud the state's Medicaid program out of two-point-six million dollars.  He says the defendants used the stolen identities of hundreds of people, who are mostly from the Faribault area, to charge Medicaid for services the victims did not receive.  They are charged with several felonies including racketeering, and identity theft.

(St. Paul, MN)  --  Authorities are warning Minnesotans to avoid open burning wherever possible as the fire danger remains high in most of the state.  The latest Department of Natural Resources Fire Danger map shows western and southern Minnesota with a very high risk of fire, with only the northeast corner of the state considered at moderate risk.  The National Weather Service issued red flag warnings for several areas over the weekend due to dry, windy conditions.

(Minneapolis, MN)  --  A Hennepin County judge is approving a defense motion to subpoena an independent use-of-force expert in the murder case against a Minnesota state trooper.  Justice Tamara Glenn ruled that Trooper Ryan Londregan's lawyers made a credible argument that Jeffrey Noble should be allowed to testify.  Trooper Londregan is charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter, and assault after he shot and killed Ricky Cobb the Second during a traffic stop last summer.
