Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — Avelo Airlines is adding two more destinations from the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport. The low-cost carrier is adding nonstop service to the Nashville International Airport in Tennessee and the Wilmington International Airport in North Carolina. Flights to and from Nashville will run Thursdays and Sundays beginning April 3, while service to and from Wilmington will run Mondays and Fridays beginning April 4.

Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — It's back!A local holiday tradition returned Friday, as WARM 101.3 made its annual switch to Christmas music. The "Holiday Gift of Music" kicked off at noon, with Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas is You" chosen as the first song of the season. The marathon will continue 24/7 through Christmas Day and likely beyond, as WARM 101.3 traditionally continue playing holiday favorites for a few days afterward.

Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — When Mike Catalana came to Channel 13 in 1987, he thought he'd only spend two years in Rochester before moving on. Less than two years later, he became the station's sports director — a position he still holds 35 years later. He added another title Wednesday, joining the New York State Broadcasters Hall of Fame. "The line I used in the video is 'The big time is where ever you are right now,'" Catalana said during Wednesday's induction ceremony in New York City.
