DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — The Kinston Bulldogs have won the 1A softball state championship at Oxford’s Choccolocco Park on Thursday. The Kinston Bulldogs took the championship from Hackleburg Thursday night, beating the Panthers 10-7. The bulldogs were beaten by Hackleburg 5-4 in the winners bracket final on Wednesday, so they had to make a strong comeback on Thursday and win three games in a row to take the state championship.
