NILES, Ohio (WKBN) – Grady Pitzulo and Tucker Tarajack combined for a seven-inning shutout as Poland downed Niles, 9-0, this afternoon. Pitzulo started the game and pitched five innings, allowing 3 hits and striking out 6. Tarajack came on in relief in the sixth as he fanned five of the eight batters he faced. Tyson Tarajack led the offense with a homer and 2 RBIs to go along with 2 singles and 3 runs scored. Joe Zuccaro, Dylan Kelty and Mike Daley all had a pair of hits. Kelty belted a double.

NORTH JACKSON, Ohio (WKBN) – Lisbon opened a 9-0 lead in the sixth inning before coming away with a 9-4 victory over Jackson-Milton to post its fifth consecutive win. Ashton Hinchliffe, Marc Moore and Logan Sturgeon each had two singles apiece. Nick Peruchetti drove in three runs and Mason Jones and Sturgeon both had 2 RBIs.Brady Carpenter pitched the first three innings before registering the win (1 H, 6 Ks).

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – The middle of JFK’s lineup – Michael Bartoe, Taggart Carfangia and Trevin Rinck – combined for 7 hits as the Eagles topped Harding, 10-2. Bartoe led the offense with three hits. Carfangia registered a single and a double while driving in 2 runs. Rinck also had a double and a single and finished with 4 RBIs.Andrew Lapolla tossed the first six innings; permitted 5 hits and struck out 4 for the win. Landon Snyder threw the last inning and struck out two.

BRISTOLVILLE, Ohio (WKBN) – Kaiden Kohler went 7 strong innings to earn the victory in Bristol’s 7-3 win over Grand Valley. Kohler struck out 12, allowing 5 hits and didn’t permit an earned run to score. Jonas Miller led the Panther offense by going 3 for 3 and driving in a pair of runs. Croc Thorp, Diesel Williams and Brock Pierce all had two hits apiece. Thorp finished with a double and Williams had a triple. Bristol (9-7) is scheduled to meet Beachwood on Saturday.

Jaidyn Henry led the Blue Jay offense with 4 hits, 4 RBIs and 2 runs scored to go along with a pair of stolen bases. Landon Workman and Jack McDevitt each finished with 3 base hits apiece. Dom Krol scored 4 times while McDevitt and Ethan Sokol both crossed home plate three times as well.
