    A woman was in police custody Wednesday evening after authorities said she stabbed three young children in the wrist at a South Side home. The stabbing involving the children, a 1-year-old girl and two boys, ages 3 and 5, is believed to have occurred about 5:45 p.m. in the 7100 block of South Harvard Avenue. The children were taken to St. Bernard Hospital in serious condition before being transferred to Comer Children’s Hospital, police said.

    A man was killed Friday afternoon following a shooting inside a West Englewood business on the city’s Southwest Side, according to Chicago police. The victim, a 42-year-old man was arguing with two men inside the business in the 7000 block of South Damen Avenue just before 4:30 p.m., when one of the men pulled out a handgun and opened fire on the victim, police said.

The three male victims, two 26-year-olds and a 25-year-old, were quarreling with a fourth person at the park near the 9900 block of Crilly Drive just before 6:30 p.m., when the fourth person opened fire.

    Three teenagers were shot and wounded Friday afternoon near a Near West Side high school, according to Chicago police. The teens, a 15-year-old girl and two boys, ages 15 and 16, were struck by gunfire while standing in the 200 block of South Hoyne Avenue around 2:45 p.m., police said in a statement. The 16-year-old boy was struck in the lower back and taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.
