Crandell on Tuesday during the Board of Supervisors meeting. Water Resources Chair Pwan Upadhyay noted the water vessel inspection process in the code cited above indeed warranted expansion.

LAKEPORT >> The Lakeport City Council received an update of the Blue Ribbon Committee for the Rehabilitation of Clear Lake while supporters apprised the public of its achievements and disclosed some of its accomplishments at the April 1 meeting. Wilda Shock, the economic development specialist for the City of Lakeport and chair of the Lakeport Economic Development Advisory Committee, opened proceedings by noting the Blue Ribbon Committee was proposed in 2017 and then launched in 2018.

CLEARLAKE OAKS >> The main thing for the Lake Area Planning Council is to get funding to local jurisdictions throughout the county to work on transportation projects. “But the biggest problem is, transportation isn’t cheap,” Jonh Speka, senior transportation planner for Lake Area Planning Council said. Speka was a guest speaker at the Eastern Region Town Hall, Wednesday. “You think mainly of roads, the biggest component, but it includes everything else in its Active Transportation Plan.
