YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Former Youngstown State men’s basketball center Gabe Dynes has committed to Southern California after entering the transfer portal in March. Dynes made the announcement on social media after it was confirmed by On3Sports. In 35 games (7 starts) for the Penguins, Dynes averaged 6.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.1 blocks per game. That number (3.1) ranked third in blocked shots in the entire country.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A group of former Youngstown State football players made their way back to town for the annual Spring Game, including current NFL players Jaleel McLaughlin and Bryce Oliver. McLaughlin is entering his third season with the Denver Broncos while Oliver is preparing for his second with the Tennessee Titans. Last season, McLaughlin registered career bests with 113 carries for 496 yards and three total touchdowns in 16 games.
