Archives of Public Health is a comprehensive journal focused on all aspects of public health research. Its mission is to enhance our understanding of population health. The journal plays a vital role in expanding public health knowledge, fostering connections between research, policy, and practice, and promoting the development of public health indicators and monitoring systems. It invites submissions that explore health outcomes and their influencing factors, emphasizing their implications for public health and policy. Archives of Public Health also accepts methodological papers on topics such as study design and bias, as well as research on health services, health economics, community interventions, and epidemiological studies that address international comparisons, health inequality, and the various environmental, behavioral, social, demographic, and occupational factors related to health and diseases.

In 2019, there were 340,349 deaths from inflammatory cardiomyopathy and myocarditis worldwide (95% UI = 284,904 − 371,305), and ASDR was 4.40/100,000 (95% UI = 3.66–4.79). Areas with higher SDI have more deaths; High-middle SDI has the largest number of quintiles (150,010,95% UI = 114,704 − 166,482), accounting for almost half of the world total. The highest number of ASDRs in high-middle SDI is 7.92/100,000 (95% UI = 6.00-8.80), which is much higher than the world average.

This retrospective study collected a total of 685,829 cases from the SEER database, spanning from 2010 to 2019. The raw data downloaded from the SEER database spans a period of ten years, from 2010 to 2019. Due to the registration of data regarding whether patients have distant metastases (including those in organs and lymph nodes) beginning in 2016, the patients analyzed in this article are from the years 2016 to 2019.
