    Those living in Barrhead’s Littleton Park say they have been left in limbo for over a year due to hold ups in the completion and adoption of their estate which has kept children’s play parks and green spaces fenced off and inaccessible.   It is understood the estate, which was officially named Weavers Lea by the developer, was supposed to be completed by Avant Homes and adopted by East Renfrewshire Council a year ago.

    James Jarvie, 62, allegedly attacked the pair at several Foster's funeral homes between April 1 and November 12 2023. Court papers state Jarvie attacked one woman on various occasions at locations in Rutherglen and Cumbernauld, Lanarkshire, Greenock, Inverclyde, Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire as well as Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire. The charge said that he touched the woman on the thighs and waist then put his body against hers.
