Hello! I'm Amy. I started my career as a graphic designer, then took on the role of a stay-at-home mom, and eventually became a food writer and photographer. It’s pretty amazing to think that I went from working in the music industry, having little knowledge about cooking, and relying on potato chips for dinner, to running a well-loved food website that attracts millions of visitors each month. Can you believe it? It's true! And it's an incredible journey for me, and I hope it becomes a delightful experience for you too!

This baked Monte Cristo grilled cheese is my twist on the classic Monte Cristo sandwich. Thin slices of ham, turkey, cheese, strawberry jam, and Djion mustard are piled on thick slices of challah bread, then cooked in the oven instead of fried. It’s so quick and easy to make several sandwiches at a time! This post may contain affiliate links. Read our disclosure policy.

This El Matador Sandwich is next level! It’s got so much awesome stuff going on like toasted ciabatta rolls topped with a spicy chipotle aioli, thinly sliced tri-tip, smoked Gouda cheese, roasted red peppers, and crispy spring mix. Each bite is an incredible blend of flavors and textures. This post may contain affiliate links. Read our disclosure policy. Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love a good sandwich – one that’s completely loaded with flavors, textures, and a sauce.
