Berkshire Live
BerkshireLive is a digital platform that evolved from a newsroom that has been serving the Reading community for over five decades. The Reading Evening Post was first introduced in 1965 and continued to provide news to the area until it transitioned to the Reading Post in 2009, offering a paid edition on Wednesdays and the complimentary Get Reading publication on Fridays. Even though the print versions ceased in December 2014, the website has remained active, delivering the latest news, events, and Reading FC updates to thousands of readers in Reading and its neighboring areas. We are dedicated to covering the important stories that resonate with Berkshire's residents, as well as the topics that pique their interest, all in a timely and precise manner.

A stepmum claims to have captured a 6.5ft 'ghost' watching her walk the dog - that people fear is the demonic nun from the terrifying horror movie The Nun. Julie Birkett-O'Loughlin was taking four-year-old border terrier Ralphy out for his night-time stroll in July when she decided to take a few snaps on her new phone. When she appeared to capture nothing she blamed herself failing to work the Google Pixel's flash, as she scrolled through her image gallery before falling asleep once back inside.
