    The Fall River Police Department made a firearm-related arrest this week. According to police, on Thursday, the Fall River Police Department’s C.A.S.T. detectives, assisted by the Emergency Services Unit, executed a search warrant on Quarry Street, in Fall River. The warrant targeted a 15-year-old juvenile, which resulted in the discovery of a 3D-printed 9mm “ghost gun” loaded with six live rounds in the juvenile’s bedroom.

    The Fall River Police Department arrested a city man on drug trafficking charges this week. According to police, on Thursday, C.A.S.T. detectives executed a search warrant on Bank Street. The target of the investigation, 45-year-old Angel Alvarado, was taken into custody after detectives seized approximately 28.35 grams of fentanyl and 18.58 grams of crack cocaine from the residence.
