The Fifers’ vice-chairman, John Donaldson, will also vacate his role in the coming weeks. Former Howe of Fife scrum-half George Horne is in the running to be named as Glasgow Warriors’ player of the season for a fourth time. The Dundee-born 29-year-old, at Warriors since 2015 and set to stay there until at least 2027 after agreeing a new contract this month, is one of six players shortlisted for the 2024/25 campaign’s McCrea Financial Services-sponsored award.
