The Takoma Station is back open. WASHINGTON — Police are investigating after an underage robbery victim was stabbed outside a Metro station in Northwest D.C. Thursday afternoon. According to Metro Transit Police, officers were called to a robbery in progress outside the Takoma Station shortly before 2 p.m. When officers arrived, they found an underage boy who had been stabbed in the upper body. Police say the boy was taken to area hospital with serious injuries.

Officials are calling the toddler's survival "miraculous." According to a spokesperson from the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue, the child fell from a balcony at the Enclave apartments in the 11200 block of Oak Leaf Drive shortly after 2 p.m. The child reportedly landed in an area covered in mulch and bushes.
