The Herald Bulletin
The Herald Bulletin is a daily publication that caters to Anderson, Indiana, and the nearby regions northeast of Indianapolis. It is operated by Community Newspaper Holdings Inc. The history of Anderson's two newspapers dates back to 1949 when they merged into a single entity. The Anderson Herald, which began as a weekly in 1868, was published in the morning, while the Anderson Daily Bulletin, established in 1885 and recognized as Madison County's oldest active daily paper, was released in the afternoon. On April 5, 1987, the two were unified into a single morning edition known as The Herald Bulletin. In 1990, Ingersoll Publications sold the paper to the Thomson Corporation, which later transferred ownership to CNHI in 2000.
