1 Introduction Over the last decade, mental health in child and adolescent patients has been increasing (Bitsko et al. 2022). Among these disorders, childhood-onset schizophrenia, while rare may be the most debilitating (Bartlett 2014). 1 Introduction Crohn's disease (CD) is one form of inflammatory bowel disease influenced by host genetics and immune system, environmental factors, and the microbiome, with significant heterogeneity in disease phenotype and severity.
