    The Northern Kentucky Port Authority announced that construction on Covington’s OneNKY Center is 70% complete. The OneNKY Center is located at 209 Greenup St. in Covington at the foot of the historic John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge.     Boone County Republican Party Chair and Commissioner Chet Hand has taken the first step to run for judge/executive in 2026, challenging incumbent Gary Moore, who has held the seat since 1998. Hand filed a statement of spending intent on April 11 with the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance, indicating his intention to run for the office. He will also have to file with the Boone County clerk’s office as a candidate to appear on the ballot in the May 2026 primary election.
