Citrus Heights Sentinel

Citrus Heights Sentinel

The Citrus Heights Sentinel is a community-focused news platform run by Luke and Nadezhda Otterstad, who live in Area 6 of Citrus Heights with their two sons, Josiah and Luke Jr. Our mission is to provide the community with accurate, timely, and professional news coverage, highlighting local stories that are often missed by other media outlets. We concentrate on local news because we’ve observed that larger news organizations frequently overlook significant happenings in our city, as their scope is too wide to address what they view as “small-town news.” Our goal is to bridge this gap by exclusively reporting on stories within our city limits and promoting local events that foster community unity.
