Jenniffer L. Mullen of Pine Hill Road was charged by Steuben County Sheriff’s Office investigators with offering a false instrument for filing in the first degree, falsifying business records in the first degree and grand larceny in the fourth degree, all class E felonies.

    CANTON — State Police responded to a car-versus-motorcycle collision on Stiles Road at approximately 10:03 p.m. June 3. The investigation revealed that an uninvolved vehicle was traveling north on Stiles Road when the driver noticed a motorcycle behind them and attempted to pass the vehicle while approaching a hillcrest. At that moment, a Dodge Dakota pickup truck was traveling south on Stiles Road and crested the hill, colliding head-on with the motorcycle.

    STATEN ISLAND — New York State Police arrested a 36-year-old Staten Island man June 3 following a hit-and-run crash on the Staten Island Expressway. Joseph Serpe was charged with driving while ability impaired, obstructing governmental administration in the first degree, a class E felony, and resisting arrest, a class A misdemeanor. Troopers from Troop NYC, SP Staten Island, were on patrol when they responded to a hit-and-run accident on the westbound Staten Island Expressway prior to Exit 7.

    NIAGARA FALLS — Police are searching for a 13-year-old girl who has been missing since May 30. Kendell Caffey was last seen wearing a white hoodie, grey sweatpants and white shoes, according to the Niagara Falls Police Department. The teen is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 105 pounds, with long multi-colored braided hair and brown eyes. Police said Caffey frequently visits Gill Creek, Hyde Park, Dairy Queen and McDonald’s.
