Policy & Internet
Policy & Internet (P&I) is a journal indexed in Q1, dedicated to exploring the intersection of public policy and the internet along with related technologies. As technology continues to change how we communicate and operate in society, it also alters our practices, norms, and institutional frameworks, significantly influencing public policy in various sectors—such as work, the economy, healthcare, transportation, development, law and justice, democracy, and security. This shift also affects the relationship between citizens and the government, as well as the governance of the internet itself. P&I publishes research that tackles public policy challenges across all sectors and levels of government. We invite cutting-edge research that examines how the internet is transforming public policy, presenting new challenges or dilemmas, or creating opportunities for smart and fair policy solutions. While we are open to insights from all academic fields, we particularly encourage contributions from communication, political science, public administration, economics, and sociology.
