The Sunday Sun is a regional Sunday newspaper available in North East England, Cumbria, and the Scottish Borders. It is published in Newcastle Upon Tyne by Reach plc. Originally launched on August 31, 1919, it was briefly known as The Sunday Sun from 1954 to 1967 before adopting its current name.
